Let's talk about PCM programming
I see that there are a few PCM tuners out there that are able to flash and tinker with stuff on the PCM.
I also see that vendors on Ebay are able to reflash Jeep PCM's for the 98-00 Cherokee's. They are able to "rebuild" the PCM and input the new vehicle's VIN and mileage into it.
How the heck do these guys do this? What tools do they have for this??? Is there such a tool that can program my PCM through the OBDII port?
Or.... a Mopar tool that links directly into the PCM??
I'm clearly missing something here and there's not a lotta info on the web about this.
