lol

1. If the studs are fine and wheel fell off... Your lug nuts were obviously not tight.

2. No, an F-250 is FAR from a direct bolt in. Why would you need a new axle? Just bolt the wheel back on...

3. Did JUST the wheel fall off or did the axle shaft break and slide out?

4. lol

Sounds like somebody doesn't like you and they tried to mess with you, that is if you're sure your lug nuts were tight before

sounds like the lugs were not tight at all if the studs arent broking or streched.
also did you torque them down to atleast 80ftlb?

Did you use anti-seize on your lugnuts? If so, that's a no-no. They are supposed to be installed bone dry. Use a torque wrench - torque to 100 ft/lbs.

That sucks. Glad you're ok. I've had tires blow out but I've never had one fall off... Saw a front tire fall of a honda a few months ago, the poor asian girl driving it looked scared ****less.

As stated if your lugs are in one piece the nuts must not have been tight. Don't forget to check the lug nuts on the other 3 three wheels...

I like to tack weld my lug nuts to the wheel to avoid this, just light though so you can grind it off when you need to.
