Default leaking windshield

Well it rained and found water coming in under dash, I did have alittle rust under window trim. Well i got glass company to take out old cracked windshield and give me a day to fix. I have 8 good size rust holes. It took 1 day to sand down and fiberglass prime and paint. No more holes.leaking windshield-cherokee-window-009.jpg

Very nice fix, I had water coming in at the very center above the rear view mirror, a LOT of it, I tried caulking the crap out of it and all sorts of other windshield gasket fixes. None of them worked. Finally I just bought a brick of plumbers putty and put a half-inch across the whole top of the windshield. hasn't leaked since, but doesn't look that great either

Very nice!
Rust in that same spot is a plague on C3 corvettes where it quickly becomes a serious structural issue. I've used MarineTex for repairs if it hasn't progressed too far, similar to what you used- it's a good long-term fix. Still holding tight years later.
