Leak Detection Pump Failure?

Check engine has been coming on due to misfires so I just reset the light with my code reader. Went to erase the codes and got a chrysler specific one. It's a P1494 and my code reader says 'Leak Detection Pump pressure switch or mechanical failure'. What dos this mean? When I first got the XJ, Chrysler stealership wanted $400 for this same pump :hammer: . Is it a big deal?

-Thanks!
