Ok so I popped the hood today to check all fluids and noticed trans fluid all over underneath where the radiator cap is kinda looks like its coming from the brass fitting that goes into the radiator but not positive and it looks like its gonna be a bicth to get to do I losen it up and put teflon tape on the threads and retighten? Any thing else I should check in that area for leaks?

Just want to be sure of which you're talking about...the larger, screw in one or the non threaded one that is held together with a quick connect fitting?

its no that bad. i replaced the rad not long age.

I didn't know it was a quick connect it looked all threaded to me but ill check tommarrow for sure but should there be teflon tape on the threads because I don't c any on there if its the quick connect leaking can u replace just that part?

yes there should be tape there

Is it the radiator (green coolant) or the tranny cooler (red fluid)?

Red fluid makes me think it's transmission cooler and not the radiator.(unless you use red coolant that Toyota uses).

These line fittings are VERY touchy, be careful not to cross-thread them.

Its deffently red trans fluid I have never touchd it but I don't c any teflon tape on the theads so I'm gonna take them out and retape and see if that takes care of it

Let me know if that teflon tape does the trick!
I have the same leak from where the line threads into the brass, and was thinking of doing the same thing, just using some teflon tape.
