Leaf springs squeaking?
 

I installed new rugged ridge HD leaf springs in my 98 sport. When I installed them they squeaked and made like a tick noise but I thought that was just because they were new. 500 miles later and they still do it. Any thoughts? Should I spray the leafs with wd40 or lithium grease?

They squeak when dirt and contaminates get between them. If you want to lube them only use dry lubricant so it does not attract dirt. The best solution would be plastic leaf spring liners between each leaf.

So aside from taking them apart any thoughts on getting them to quiet down?
