largest tire stock w 3inch offset wheels
XJ sits on 235/75/15 with 3 inch offset 8 or 9 inch wide i forgetExactly how wide the wheels are I know they stick out the fenders a bit, question is whats the biggest i can run? 31x10.5s? i was thinking 265 75-15s. its not going to lift but i need tires and i want something good

you might be able to fit 30x9.5 with only minor rubbing. the stock wheels on XJ are 15x7, usually about 4.5-4.75" backspacing, i think. so you might have aftermarket wheels. i don't think any company makes 265/75-15. that's probably gonna be for 16" wheels. besides, 265/75-15 would measure about 31x10.4 on 15" wheels anyway.
