I'm bedlining my floor pans & would like to keep these holes available as drain holes. From the factory, they are plugged/sealed with sheet metal plugs. Once they are pulled out, they are pretty much destroyed.

Anyone have an opinion of how to fix these? Weld covers over the factory holes & drill something smaller (that I can find a rubber plug for)?

Mainly looking for opinions.

Are you talking about the small hole in the picture that is open? Or 3"+ cover in the middle of the pic?

With mine, I use a bath tub/sink stopper to push down in the hole. Pulls out when I need to drain the floor pan. It's also a great conversation starter when someone new gets in the Jeep.
