Default knocking sound coming from motor

when i crank it up in the morning i cant hear it but as it heats up and when i get to where im going and put it in park i can hear it. it goes away under a load and you can only hear it at idle. i think it might be the flywheel but not sure. any help or tips to solving my problem would be sweet. thanks ahead of time

you may want to get it checked out pretty soon, may be a flywheel and it could be a rod bearing on its way out.

Mine knocks like crazy.. Im just gonna drive it till it blows... Yours MAY be a worn cam or stuck lifter, but without hearing it we cant really tell you...

valves, lifters are a possiblity also I have had it happen where it overheats due to a bad heater core or head gasket and you won't hear it till the engine starts to get too hot. If your not overheating then most likely not the last two. You could have a sticky lifter though or need the valves looked at. Just some thoughts

l would have someone check out your lifters and valves and mybe stethescope your motor (not nearly as technical as it sounds)then, but it's really hard to diagnose without hearing it a knock to you could be something completely different to someone else.

You can pull the inspection plate off the bell housing and check the flex plate that way.

You can try different weight oil and see if that helps.
