I Have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee I adjusted the Kickback cable and now it shifts hard on the first gear and jumps when i put it in gear Reverse, drive, and N. Which it didn't do that at first only When i put it in drive. What could be the problem? Maybe re-adjust the cable? also it drive a little better at low speeds now

what method did you use to adjust the cable? I adjusted mine (properly I believe) and it softened the shifts a bit, but made them quicker. however, it is the short shift king now. shifts 1......2.....3.4.converter lock up.

I Push the little bottom on some black piece under the hood and pulled the cable cover back and pulled the throttle wide out like they said. Now it has lost power on the low end but it shifts hard as hell in the First and when i put it in gear it feels like the trans is about to jump from under the car
