keyless remote for 1998
I just bought a 98 limited for my wife.
It has power locks but didn't come with any remote controls. I believe the car itself is equipped to use a remote.
Can I buy a remote and pair it myself or do I need to have a dealer do the pairing?

For my 98, the receiver is in the overhead console. From the manual, it looks like it would be clearly visibly attached to the head liner if you don't have an overhead console.
If you don't have power locks then you are out of luck for sure.
