key stuck in lock
 

I have a 1990 Cherokee limited. I couldn't get the key out of ignition switch. I thought the keys were worn out so I replace the switch and it stuck to.after doing research I'm thinking it the spring key buzzer switch.any ideals were to buy part would be helpful.

The key does not go into the switch. It goes into a lock cylinder that connects to the ignition switch by a metal rod. The actual switch is at the bottom of the steering column.

So now back to your issues. Was the key actually stuck in the lock cylinder? Once you took the old one out, did the old key come out? Are you able to turn the new key to all of the positions, including accessory? I'm assuming you're using the new key that came with the lock cylinder.
