Key fob question
 

I was wondering what the deal is with keyless entry and XJs? Mine didnt come with it stock, but can i just buy the fob and program it or do i have to install the system. I know that some vehicles have everything you need already and i was kind of hoping for the same thing. I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport. Thanks for any help

It's possible, the reciever is located in the dome lamp housing. Pull it down and check to see if there is a connector in that area taped back to the harness.
