Default tps maybe?

well i kinda put my jeep in a sinkhole and the interior got wet along with the engine. i think my tps is going cause when i start it, the engine revs really high to like 2000-3000 rpm. any ideas and how to fix?

Instead of spending $30 just take it apart and clean/dry it and try that......

nice swim job. just be glad you didn't hydrolock it. that water looks pretty muddy and i dont think you could have seen the bottom. you got really lucky.

it was more sand than mud, and yes thats ice floating on top of the water. if you look hard enough you can see the bottom just off the passenger side of the jeep. i talked to a guy who said that two rigs have gotten stuck there in consecutive days before i went in so there was like a foot drop. it wasnt that deep going in it just kinda dropped off. i am lucky i know, the only thing that has gone wrong with it so far was the tps.
