jeep xj clunk
 

whenever my 1998 xj is moving, forward or reverse, i have a clunk. i was towing a small trailer, barely fit the fourwheeler i had on it. the faster i go the faster the clunk is, the slower the slower it goes. when i do step on the gas it does feel harder and gets louder. no engine light either. anyone ever have a similar issue?

Look at the U joints on your driveshaft.
