Please can you help?? - I have recently fitted my 93-94 Cherokee with LPG and has been running fine. I was told that to tune it I could take a reading from the Lambda sensor whilst on petrol and try to replicate the reading whilst on LPG to get the correct tune?

Anyway Im not really up on electrics, should have waitied for my dad, but was impatient and I flicked through a few settings on the multi-meter whilst it was running, took a feed from one of the white wires from the lambda sensor and the Jeep just suddenly died! Now it wont start at all, will turn over but wont fire!!

I think there must be an energy spike or something as the LPG switch is now lit (when it shouldnt be) and the engine temperature gauge is in the red overheating zone, even though its not even switched on (no keys in ignition)???

Any ideas as to what I might have done and how to fix it would be greatly received.

check the fuses. you might have burned one.
