driving home from ****ty *** work today, the engine shut off, then a second later came back on. did this 3 times in like 5 miles going from 45-3mph. then when went to park it, it just shut off completely. not sure wait it might be since it shut off then turned back in by itself when i was driving about 45. any suggestions?

Hmm I had a 91 Caddy that did that a few times. It was the main plug on the computer. They were know to have week or dirty connections pull it apart clean with contact cleaner then zip tie the plug to the case so it couldn't back out or come loose.
Might want to look at your brain box or the ignition switch as well.

thanks. ill do that. i also worked on the battery terminals today, cleaned em off cus they were dirty. possibility of the ground not been cleaning enough for it to cause that to happen? i have three wires in each terminal, 2 for the jeep and 1 for my 700w power source

hell no, i had spending money on random parts unless i need em. i think i got it fixed. i dont think the battery was properly grounded. check engine light went off went i cranked it up. bout to go to autozone now to get a new air filter...there was a mouse nest in it...checked it today since i just got my jeep a week ago. shipped it from pa to ca. was sitting for 3 months. think its time for a k&n filter.

Damn! Yeah sitting for 3 months, who knows what'll happen. Good call on the grounds. Check the rest of the wiring too... good likelihood that if there was a mouse nest in one place, there are chewed wires (mouse snacks) elsewhere
