Hey ive been haven some problems with my xj. It idle ok for a lil but if I let sit while running it starts to sputter. I checked the fuel pressure and it was at 49 and drops to 45ish. I have a video of it. At full throttle in park it drops to around 30psi. While drive I cant full nit with out it wanting to die. So I'm leaning towards fuel pump. Plugs look pretty lean also. Any ideas?

you tried cleaning your injectors?

I replaced them and doing the same crap. The injectors came from a 98 xj. They are a yellow color

And also to start after it sits I got to turn key on and off a few times . I checked fuel pressure after sitting and it's at 0 and right after I turn key off from running and it loses pressure fast

What you describe is a classic "check valve" issue, and that is located inside of the fuel pump assembly, located inside the gas tank.

If you can't hold at 49 psi when you throttle up (plus or minus 5 psi), that sounds like a weak pump.

So with the combination of things, a new fuel pump assembly would probably cure BOTH.

If you do this, do not buy an Airtex. Their out of the box failure rate and general reliability is poor. Look for a BOSCH. They dominate in this category. They are more expensive, but worth every penny.
