Where to start, So i just bought a 2000 jeep xj for 395$ no rust on it at all, the only down side is that the guy said it just died on the highway and wouldn't start up again, but it would crank. This jeep sat for a year he said, and I still bought it. 2000 jeep xj 4.0, I installed a new starter, CPS, battery, NSS, Spark plugs (Champion copper), and it will almost start but not, it blows smoke out of every orifice but i think thats due to flooding, it had old gas in it and we were bleeding it out and i put 6 gallons of 91 premium in with a little bit of seafoam. Plugged a ob2 reader in and no codes at all, unless thats due to the new battery. I was thinking it may be the coil pack, i pulled them off and used a multimeter and got resistance between them around 15 ohm, i used this video when searching, he explains it at around 5 mins in

Could maybe be Camshaft sensor, or computer maybe? I also checked relays swapping them out, and checked fuses

Are you getting spark? Of not, I say crank sensor
