Hey guys just got a 99cherokee sport with a 3.5" lift. It didn't do it at first but now when I'm in idol my jeep will kick a little. It doesn't move forward or anything but it still doesn't seem right. Anyone know what's goin on? Possibly the fuel injectors? Also, how many gallons is my tank suppose to hold? 20?

 

Ok, so you're saying at idle? In gear, not in gear, foot on the brake???

By kicking, are you referring to a bucking almost like it's hunting for a constant idle speed?

 

Yeah ill be in idol in gear with my foot on the brake (mines an auto). It's happened a few time when driving too, it will lug a little. The rpms don't change when it happens

check plugs, sounds like a random miss fire. Could be any number of things, but plugs are suppose to be done every 30k. Replace with factory COPPER CORE only!! The so called expenisve, better plugs, will make it run worse and make your wallet alot lighter.
