this happened to me when i first started the jeep i cleaned iac valve and it seems to be fine now there is a post on here somewhere on how to clean it basicaly you pull it and clean it with throttlebody cleaner and a small nylon brush

While it is doing it high idle thing check for vacume leaks, there may be some type of port that only opens after it is warmed to full operating temp. I have used starting fluid or an unlit propain bottle (small propain torch) around hoses and intake manifolds, the rpms will raise even higher if u get in the vicinity of a leak. Not sure this is the safest way and I take no responsibility if u catch your truck on fire, but it does work.

Pull the IAC out of the throttle body bore and scrub the crap out of it and the bore with a toothbrush and carb. cleaner. If that doesn't fix your problem then read out your TPs. I bet either the IAC is sticking or your TPS is trash.
