ok so i bought a 2000 jeep cherokee and when i got it everything was runnin good the oil doesnt need to be changed untill 106,104 miles, but when i come to a slow stop im hearing a dull ticking on the driver side? my dad said it might be the speedometer ticking but idk it goes away once i get into about second gear???? idk wat it is help me before i ruin my baby!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's the speedometer, mine doesn't tick. Does it sound like it's coming from the wheel or from under the Jeep?

could be your balljoints or wheel bearings. also, check your swaybar bushings, one of mine went bad and it was making a ticking sound like that, but would go away when i went faster.

Posible bad u-joint? . .and you're only noticing it at slower speeds (so far)

Exhaust leak around the exhaust manifold area? Maybe your hearing your injectors? How loud is this noise your hearing?
