Jeep Cherokee Jeep Cherokee 91 Starts but stop immediately (HELP)?(HELP)
Hello there
My 91 Cherokee Starts but stop immediately, And after diag. I found the Fuel Pump circits cuts off after starting in 3-5 Sec.
I've changed fuel pump, spark plugs, spark wires, dist cap, crack shaft sinsor.
Any Idea?

could it be the fuel pump fuse in the engine bay on the passenger side? Maybe its able to start but not hold a charge to keep pumping if the fuse is blown

You have a voltmeter? check to see if the pump has good power + ground. Check it AT THE PUMP (the load of the circuit).

Probably not fuel pump related...
When you turn key to "on", all of the injectors should pulse once. This is called a "prime" or initial pulse. That should put enough fuel into the cylinders to start it. Once it's running, the injectors pulse independently controlled by the camshaft position sensor (or stator, for your model). I'd take a good look at that stator. Start with the plug at the distributor, and work your way in...
