Default jeep acts weird when put into 4hi

well here is what is happening

whenever i put the jeep into 4hi and drive in a straight line the front end vibrates and when i stop it clunks

also when the jeep is in 4hi and i turn the whole thing goes crazy

then when i put it back into 2wd it drives and rides fine

i dont know what is wrong with it and i cant figure it out

i have tried manually putting the jeep into 4hi thinking maybe it isnt fully engaging but that didnt help...

any help would be greatly appreciated...

in a straight line it should not do that.

Have the one of the axles been swapped? if so the gear ratio's could be off.

axles are the same as when i bought it a couple months ago and i went and offroaded it with no problems, but it concerns me that in a straight line its doing it my wrangler doesnt do it in a straight line even on concrete,

i just went in some grass with it in 4hi and it drove normal but i also couldnt get any sort of speed so see if it develops..

well i went over to a field at a local school and put it into 4hi and 4lo and drove at a moderate speed 30 in 4hi and 15 in 4lo and it drove fine with no wobble and was perfect maybe it is just the concrete?

i bought the jeep at the end of october and i havent done anything other than change fluids

it could cuz when 4wd is on its actually applying force on them, just crawl underthere and turn the front shaft back and forth, you should be able to see if there is play by the axle joints if they are moving up and down
