Its making me sick...
So I lift my jeep 3" and put 33"s on it, as soon as I do that my GKN driveshaft gives up. So i read on here I can convert to a U joint driveshaft easily (no one gives specifics) so i get a d30 yoke and a u joint driveshaft... Not to any suprise the d30 yoke and spicer driveshaft bolt holes are not even close to lining up.... More money wasted and still no 4x4. I guess ill have to drop 400.00 for another GKN shaft that everyone says is garbage!!!!

Whoa, there. I assume you are talking about the CV joint? The standard yoke and the CV yoke are different. You just need to get the proper yoke. I used to have that type of drive line on an 85 and the 86 I have now. They don't like lift and will go south on you. Just get the CV yoke, and maybe you can return the one you have now?

I bought a dana 30 yoke off of ebay and also a U joint type driveshaft that came out of a 4.0 4x4 cherokee w/ a dana 30 front.... Where would I get the yoke to fit that?

Ebay again. When I converted a wrangler transfer case to work on my zj, I had to change to input gear to match my driveshaft. It was easy
