Issues With My Jeep
i have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee. inline 6cylindar automatic..i am having issues with the blinkers...if i put the hazards on the lights blink but if i put just the left or right blinker on it just stays solid it doesnt blink...is it possible my blinker switch is bad? if you can help it would be greatly appreciated..

the first place u want to start is your blinker relay under the dash! its like $3 or $4 if that doesnt work go trough all ur lights! the haz lights will still blink if 1 of the bulbs is burnt out! if non of them are burned out them u have big problems & need a test light to start chassing wires!!!!!

What the guy before called a blinker relay is actually your "flasher unit" for your turn signals. It is located in the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side on the outboard side of the steering column. It is a 3 or 4 dollar part and it does look like a relay (square plastic thing that plugs in). I would try that first. That's usually what the problem is when you turn signals stop flashing on both sides. A burned out bulb can kill one side or the other.
