intermittent sputtering enigma
:help:I have a 90 Cherokee 4.0 with 340K on original engine. It will run great for hours on end until I turn off the engine and restart it. Then the sputtering starts (only when accelerating) and will not stop until after 15-20 minutes. It has been doing this for a few months now and I have replaced the fuelpump+filter, fuel injectors, ignition coil + module, stepper motor, spark plugs + wires, distributor cap + rotor, oxygen sensor, TPS and MAP sensor. Also did a compression check and it was ok. What can be causing the sputtering ?????
