Interior questions 1999 Cherokee
Two questions on my 1999 Cherokee.
1) How does the Instrument cluster come out? I can only find write-ups on the earlier models. I assume the lower padded piece below the steering column is held on by a couple of phillips head screws that I can feel there. Are there screw hidden under that panel that hold the trim? How is the right side of the IP trim retained/removed?
2) Seat Interchange. The cloth and vinyl driver's seat is breaking. I put large fender wasers where the bolts had pulled through the thin metal on the seat bottom, but that is temprorary at best.
What years and models seats will fit in my Jeep? Was leather avaialable? How well does it wear? Will electric seats fit? What about the harness? Are passenger and driver seats interchangeable?
Thanks
