I'm starting on my header install and was told u have to take the intake off to do so. Its an 89 renix . My question is can I take the intake off with the injectors still in the intake or do I need to pull them out before I pull the intake.also I know there is like 6 bolts holding the header and intake to the head and all I have seen is 1 on the powersteering bracket. Is there more on the power steering bracket cause the intake seems to still be attached its still tight. Is there a certain way the intake has to come off. Thanks for looking

haha try 11 bolts and 2 dowels. And yes you need to remove the PS pump and bracket
it's probably possible to do it with the fuel rail still on the intake, but I don't advise it. You'll be fighting to get the intake/exhaust off the engine as it is, don't want to damage the fuel rail.
Here's the procedure from the Factory Service Manual - should clear everything up
