Instrument cluster problem
Hello everyone. What an awesome site!! Just found it and will be participating a lot very soon. Question though. I have a 1995 Cherokee and the tach, speedo, odometer, and gas guage has gone haywire. The gas guage stopped working just before the others, but they will all come back sometimes when it is first cranked, or I hit a bump or floor the gas. The voltmeter and temp guage still works fine. Does this sound like a cluster problem or maybe a ground. Does anyone know where the cluster grounds to? Any help much appreciated.

Welcome to CF. This was my first problem when I bought my Jeep. All gauges would drop and to come back would take a hard bump or even tapping at the plastic cover of them. Fixing mine was a short in the wires behind them. For yours mabe its a short in the wires.
