Is the input bearing the same MM across all 94+ i6 4.0Ls with NP231Js?

I am buying a full rebuild kit for a NP231J. I'm also doing a few upgrades like sprocket, wide chain, fork, and planetary. What I am trying to figure out though is are all of the input bearings the same across the i6 4.0s? I know some are 16MM and some are 24MM, but I think that varies depending on the number of cylinders the engine has. I just need to be sure that is the case. I need to try to keep the "discovering the need for new parts while the transfer case is out and open" to a minimum.

I wouldn't have a running vehicle if it weren't for this forum, haha. Thank you.

I talked to someone and I *think* I figured it out. 24MM is before 1994 and 16MM is after. Please, someone correct me if I am wrong.
