independent suspension

Is it possible to put independent suspension on a cherokee? something like what is on the military hummers?

it was just one of those ideas that poped in my head, i was thinking better suspension, traction, and **** like that

X2 on the more work than its worth. If you really wanna do it go for it. It's all about personal preference. You could rip the front end out of a liberty. I don't know if any jeeps came with an independent rear though. But if you plan on wheeling it at all I'd stick with solid axels. Less parts = less things you can break. If you do it post some pics
