ignition system short, totally stumped
So I have a 95 sport, started it one day went 50 ft and died, pulled key and it burnt my finger. I assumed ignition switch, just replaced it and no help. The key turns, the acc stuff comes on, but when I turn the key to start it absolutely nothing happens. New battery, starter less than a year old which I tried to arc and all it does is spin. Help, I lost my job 3 months ago can't afford a mechanic.

Check this link to replace your ignition switch. It shows both styles

I'm not sure that'd explain the burnt finger when the key was removed. And typically the motor will still turn over if the CPS is toast, it just won't fire because the injectors don't pulse since they aren't getting the signal to do so.
