ignition switch help please
ok, i get in my 1994 xj and turn the key to the on position, fuel pump kicks on and instrument cluster works... and thats it, no blower motor,windshield wipers turn signals or radio. but when you turn the key all the way backwards everything comes on like its supposed to. so my question is does the 94 cherokee have the ignition switch part of the lock cylinder assembly or does it have the metal rod that slides back and forth on an ignition switch separate from the lock cylinder?

yeah i picked up an ignition switch and replaced it today, very easy to do i noticed on the old one that one of the pins was burnt and the plastic around it was melted. thanks for the help guys
