Ignition key help needed

Ignition key help needed
I have a 94 xj and I need some advice, when I turned it off after my commute I couldn't get the key cylinder to turn to the lock position and remove the key. It's stuck in the first position before lock. Could someone please give some advice on how to fix this. Thanx
