What do you mean it doesn't communicate with obd? The scanner/code reader won't power up, or the scanner/code reader won't communicate? Have you examined the DLC pin cavities for corrosion (takes a strong flashlight and a magnifying glass)?


Ive replaced pretty much all of this heep since I've had it. since the problem I've done timing chain and sprockets, o2, tps, iacs, crank position, pickup coil, ecu and stand alone harness that connects to it, fuel pump and all lines, injectors plugs, wires, cap, most of the vaccum system, intake gasket and lots more. nothing seems to be the problem. ill listen to anything at this point. I fancy myself a jeep guru n this has me stumped. I'm sure I forgot something so ask away n suggest away thanks


By 'Pick Up Coil' are you referring to the Camshaft Position Sensor in the distributor?
