got a 98' cherokee sport with a 4.0 l6 and was wondering how much hp im puttin out?

well the factory says 190hp so if everything is stock that is probably what you have

well i want to be around like 250hp HA! so i was thinkin a Cold air intake that would put me at like 210 but i would like to still get somewhat decent gas milage....?

they might try to tell you the CAI would give you twenty more horsepower but it is really all relative. i went with the AEM brute force for mine and i'll admit it made a difference but nothing like 250 hp, but who knows its very hard to say what 20 more HP actually feels like. If you are worried about your fuel economy going down you don't have to. the more and colder air your engine has to burn and the more efficiently it can dispel exhaust gasses (a nice free flowing exhaust system) the better your Fuel economy will be. these mods just simply make your engine run more efficiently. not to mention a couple more ponies to the wheels

you could probably score about 220 with a cold air intake, high flow cat, and a good cat back....but to achieve 250 you are gonna need alot more then just bolt on's...

CAI, Bored Throttle body, header and a good exhaust will probably give you another 25hp realistically...IMHO...Tj

i got a 4.5" lift and 32's and i want more horses and all im really shootin for is bolt-ons, i do have a dynomax catback on it now from the cat converter back so....

Because with the 4.0L who cares about horsepower, as it's all about the torque.
