Default i think ive got this

i have a 98 cherokee sport with 119000 miles. it throwing a cel for 705 and 700. ive done my research on backposts and found that this is likely a malfunction of the nss.

the symptoms i have are cel, sometimes the right blinker flashes quicker than usual but then comes to a normal flash rate as i turn the wheel (only the right blinker) and if iirc the right reverse light was out but its likely intermittent due to the flasher sometimes working properly. it starts, and drives just fine aside from that, although its a bit slow to start (seems like a fuel problem). do you guys think i can get this all remedied by a new nss? cheapest place to buy one?

also, one guy from my work said if i dont replace it, after time the computer wont know what gear its in when i try to start it, and therefore wont start. is this true?
