Bent Tierod
We'll i was PB blasting my xj today to make way for a new lift kit and i found that there is a slight bend in my tierod. the bend bows backwards. I dont think its supposed to be bent. Could this be causing my death wobble????? This would through off my alignment right?

think about it.. you have the rod that connects the knuckles..... connected by a straight line... anything other than that straight line.. mean toe in or toe out... (bad alignment)

Honestly don't even think to hard about it, get a v8 zj rod. Its a ton stronger and solid, bolts right in. Makes the stock xj one look like a curtain rod.

so the tierod is 100% straight?? how are rusty's tierods? Whats the best way at going about replacing it? Get the separator, then what? how do the new ones fit in? I do all my work just never had any troubles in the steering area so this is new to me, and a costly learning experience.

the only problem with the zj rod is that it sits lower then the xj tie rod, thus giving you less clearance
Any HD tie rod and ends are going to be a major upgrade.
