Hi-country off road products for front tow points.
And rear is good with a hitch and d-ring reciever.
Detours Backbone also has a nice system if you want to keep the stock bumper and have tow points with a winch.
I am not a fan of the front hitch personally I think they look stupid.

bumpers with d rings? Yes, check out JCR
D rings on the factory rear bumper plates? NO.. the stock bumper sucks, I ripped my rear one off. They are very light duty.
receiver hitchs front and rear with d rings ??? Or both, again look at JCR.. never know when you might need to mount something up front via a receiver... winch, bike rack, etc...
I am looking at the JCR stage 2 front and rear.

I put on a warrior
I used this warrior up front w/D rings amd bruch guard. I got there light mounts and put a receiver hitch out of the JY to tie to in the back for now, I like the look of there rear bumper too. Maybe after I get done with the suspension work I'm doing now.
ItS pritty light too. Bolts right up to the stock holes. I just had to drill a couple holes for the vac canister.

for the front, if you are looking at a new bumper with recovery points, or a hitch in it, make sure you get one (or make one) that ties into the "frame" rail all the way back. If you are just using the 3 factory bolt holes that holds the factory bumper on it could fail. same goes for the rear. the 4 bolts on each side of the rear are fine for a thin sheetmetal factory bumper, but i don't like them for pulling on. You can use a good class III reciever and a d ring in it. That works well.
here is a pic of my front tie ins for reference:

a hitch is easy to come by. just go to your local auto parts store and get one. make sure its a fitted one, specifically for your XJ. the universal ones wont line up, make sure its a class 3.
