If you have a running engine, you do nothing but change the plugs and wires and all of a sudden it won't run and exhibits the classic symptoms of improper wire installation.... it miiiiiiiight be improper wire installation. :)

Only reason to disagree is that he said he labeled them before removing. Not a guarantee he installed the new ones correctly. But if he did follow what the Haynes manual says then yes they are wrong.

You could always mark Num1 on the Dizzy cap that would keep you out of Trouble ..... Hope you sort it out
