00lkwdXJ 10-17-2010 02:49 PM

taking the linkage off and shifting it from the transfer case it wont go past 4 high

mehoff_400 10-17-2010 02:54 PM

Did you shift it into 4wd before taking transfercase apart..I believe my friend had the same problem and I believe you have to put it in 4wd before taken it apart...but I could be wrong

00lkwdXJ 10-17-2010 03:28 PM

Did you grind enough off the shaft that comes back towards the nose cone? U can take the plug out and see if it is hitting there. if so take the rear cone off and grind some more down.
Even tho u built it in 4hi it may not be quit enough to clear

haha, it happened to me. it was enought to clear with that plug out(barely) but with the plug in it wouldnt go past 4hi. $hi is as far back as that shaft goes then moves back foward a bit for 4lo
