if you drop a plumb line or a string w/ a weight down in there you might can feel where its at...
once you figure out where its at, heck, get out a fishing pole and see if you get any bites

I'm not sure this will work on your year of vehicle, but my little brother dropped an air freshener in there one time... remove the center console and under the center of your dash you should see the supply for air to the lower vents. With two screws on the front and maybe two on the side, that bottom portion of the center dash should come out and you might be able to get your hand up in there to feel around for it. How the heck did that happen, do you have a really small cel-phone? I can't think of anywhere wide enough to get a cel-phone in there...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the only way you will get that phone is to take the dash loose so you can get to the defroster hose and air horn. It is going to be a PITA. The good news is you won't have to take it all the way out, if that is good news.

Just look at it this way. You get to explore your ride. The lower dash simple. Like 6 or 8 screws. After that it's a bit of a pita, but not too bad. Just explore man, and have fun with it,, Oh yea, and don't do it again... lol
