I AM LOST

well this is the problem im having. I find myself buying everything but my lift. For example bumpers, winch, rock sliders, 1 ton, aussie lockers, diff covers, picking up a dana 44 this weekend, roof rack, bushwackers, kc daylighters, and iv even been looking to buy the tires i want to run. So theirs my problem im having a lot of trouble deciding on a lift. I like the RE 5.5 but i dont know if thats big enough. Also how big can you go before you start having to play with your front drive shaft?:brickwall:

5.5 sound big enough to me, that is of course unless your climbing everest.

to each his own on lift size. i was going to go with a 7.5 rubicon express lift but i dont feel like playing with the front driveshaft angles. I just through the 5.5 in there as a minimum

my goal is to run 35s with out blowing everything out.

creepinjeepin 11-27-2008 02:59 AM

thats a good min. lol
jeeze what the biggest you were going to go.
i say you just jack it up a foot and put some 40's on there.

trying to stay within 5.5 inches and the point were i hav to start playing with the front driveshaft angles. Any Long arm lifts you guys would suggest?

RE has a good LA kit...even Rusty's long arms arent that bad i have heard...

at 5.5 you dont need to worry about your front driveshaft i dont believe...

yea but you do at 7.5 do you have to worry about it at 6.5
