Default How should fuel injectors fit?

Forgive me if this has been asked before. I’ve read countless injector upgrade threads, but haven’t seen anything on this.

I just replaced my injectors, I can’t tell from
thw videos I’ve watched or the pictures I’ve looked at. Should the o-ring be popped into the manifold?

Again, I am new, my XJ is new to me, and I’m just now getting into all of this, so I’m sorry for the ignorance.

The oring goes onto the injector first.

I understand that, what I’m asking, is do I push the fuel rail until the oring pops into the manifold, or does the oring stay on the outside?

Yes the orings need to push into the manifold. Use some petroleum jelly to help.

Thank you, I got them in. She runs like a champ and I don’t have the hotstart issue anymore.
