Check engine ligths, inyector No.5 goes off!!!!
Some times when the engine is hot and I get to a stop sign or get to a parking lot and leave the car for a little while. And then i get back; the car lights the check engine, and inyector No. 5 stops working, if I continue to drive then the check engine light starts to blink rapidly.
I have scanned the car four times and it always reads inyector No.5 Malfunction
But i have taken all inyectors to be checked, changed positions, and always the problem goes to inyector No. 5
The weirdest thing is that once the car gets cool, it returns to normal. The check engine ligts shuts off by itself...after five or six times i start the engine.
Today the problem showed up after two months without any problem, I Don't know what else do I have to do to solve this issue for good.
The car is a Jeep XJ 2001, 100% stock. 123410 miles, never crashed or anything.
Thanks,

The code can be tripped for anything on the #5 injector circuit. So keep in mind that along with the injector itself, the problem can also be in the injector connector, wiring, even the computer itself.

Yeap, last night the Jeep started just fine.... really don't know, because the problem is not permanent, I'll start to check what can I do with the ECU....!!!
The wiring has been checked at everything looks just fine.
Thanks
