How to remove Accelerator Cable?

How to remove Accelerator Cable?
Ok the Accelerator Cable is starting to fray by the gas pedal. I cant find anywhere online how to disconnect the wire by the gas pedal only a million threads on adjusting and putting a 4.0 throttle body on a 2.5L. According to Mopar all the 1996-2001 use the same wire so I guess they all disconnect the same?
