Default How much is this worth?

I just posted an ad for my jeep in the proper subforum, but that section receives a fraction of the traffic that this one does. Unfortunately I don't have much time because the car is broken down on a mechanic's lot and he wants it gone.

I don't expect anyone on this forum to live near me AND be in the market for a non-running jeep, but I'm hoping to find out how much this car is worth so I can post a craigslist ad. If it's still worth a few bucks I'd like to know. If it's worthless I'd like to know that too. I just really have no idea personally.

Thanks guys

You might look at your local CL, and here>(all of CL) http://www.searchcraigslist.org/ might help you settle on a figure. If the engine really is toast, maybe $100O OBO?

I just bought a 98 with a blown engine for $750 in Northern VA. It is a pretty solid body though. No rust on doors though. I would agree in $1000 OBO.

I paid $500 for mine, and drove it home. Around here it seems they go for $200-500 in non-running condition.

That's a $500 car, tops.
