I am going to do 33's on both the 96 and the 94 with the RC 4.5" lifts. for those who have done this, how much did you trim? i dont really want to completely remove the flares, but thats not set in stone.

im in the exact same boat as you! but im puttin 33's on a 95 xj. i was also wondering hoew much i will be trimmin g off

A fair bit. I have a 4.5" lift on 33's.

If you look at the before and after you can see how much higher the flare comes up. I know the BW's are a bit bigger, but about 2-3" was removed to install them.

What size are those rims?

They look pretty good on an XJ, and I never pictured bigger rims to do so.

I think that is because they are black. If they were "blingin" it would stand out more and carry the mall crawler designation.

That is a clean XJ though...
