OHV = Overhead Valve - you already have that.

OHV = Off-Highway Vehicle - a term reserved for heavy equipment.

So, how about some more information? Perhaps you're not getting an answer because no-one understands the question...

You might want to contact your local parks and recreation as a start. How hard it is depends on where you are and where you want to wheel at. So if locally check with the local city or state agency. We can't really help with this matter and this is not a tech issue.

go to the DMV and tell them you want to change registration status

you wont be able to drive it on the street any more

It would help if we knew where you live. Or try to google "OHV permit your state".

Here in Michigan we have ORV (Off road vehicle) stickers that can be bought at various places. Most Michigan off road areas require them for all off road vehicles street legal or not. I got one from a sporting goods store a few years ago. Dont have one now.

This is the only thing that is stoping me right now because I drive it to the trails once I find a good cheap trailer I might have to do it.
